Why Become a SteamSpeed Reseller?

Do you have a performance shop, dyno facility, website, or perhaps run a local car club? We want you to be successful and help you grow with SteamSpeed and SteamSpeed products. For us, it is about building relationships with customers, especially our business customers that often directly support our customers. Chances are that you already source our products from one of distributors, or maybe you customers order our parts on their own. That's great, we encourage you continue to do that if it works for you; however, if you would like to establish a direct resell relationship with SteamSpeed, you are invited to apply to become one of our authorized resellers.

  • Easy ordering: wholesale pricing is directly reflected on your steamspeed.com account, so ordering is as easy as adding items to your cart and checking out.

How to Become a Reseller?


You need to have a legitimate business that buys, resells, or installs our type of products. If you operate in the state of Washington, you will need to provide a current reseller licence. We encourage all to apply, and are happy to setup their accounts and provide you specail site access, but if you only need one item, for example, consider using RallySport Direct Wholesale.

If you run a car club looking to do a group buy, we want to help you and your club members. Feel free to email us at wholesale@steamspeed.com and we will get you started with that process, and we will hook up your group with special discounts.

Application Process

  1. If you haven't already, create a site account for your business.
  2. Download, complete, and sign the 3 application documents: application, credit card auth, and policy documents.
  3. Email to wholesale@steamspeed.com the email used to create your account in step 1, and the scanned completed docs from step 2.
  4. With that information we'll setup your account in our system.
  5. After you are all setup, we'll email you the current wholesale price sheet. You can use your site login to directly order with your wholesale discount, or you may send in purchase orders directly to wholesale@steamspeed.com as well.

Wholesale Policies

Effective January 1, 2017

Minimum Advertised Price (MAP)

Over a period of many years, SteamSpeed has invested considerable effort in engineering high quality and high performing parts, and providing knowledgeable support and service for customers. This effort, in addition to the actual product, are what provides value to the customers. The goals of this MAP policy are: to maintain this value to the end customers and wholesale and distribution partners, and to ensure fair and uniform pricing across the marketplace for all of SteamSpeed partners.

MAP Policy: SteamSpeed products must be advertised publicly at MSRP, or in other words MAP is MSRP. “Advertised publically” refers to any public means of publishing the price including but not limited to: ecommerce sites, forum sales, print ads, email marketing, social media, etc. Public marketing of SteamSpeed products below MSRP is considered a violation of MAP policy. SteamSpeed may cease to supply product to any wholesale partner that violate MAP policy at its discretion.

MAP policy only applies to the advertised price. Resellers may sell SteamSpeed products what whatever price they choose.


Generally the pricing on the current price sheet is authoritative, but SteamSpeed reserves the right to change prices at any time. Prices on invoices are valid for 30 days.

Sale Pricing: A reseller may request and be granted permission to run a limited term promotion and campaign by contacting wholesale@steamspeed.com providing specifics. SteamSpeed generally doesn’t run sales, but if it does happen, the sales price is temporarily considered MAP, and resellers may match the sales pricing publically during that period.

Sales & Marketing Channels: Resellers are allowed to market and sell SteamSpeed products through any channel except: eBay, Amazon Marketplace, Alibaba, and other similar marketplaces.

Support, Repairs, and Returns

Repairs: All repairs will be done by SteamSpeed in either its facility in Bellevue Washington or its factory in Taiwan. SteamSpeed stocks spare repair parts including fully rebuild CHRAs for nearly every product in the US; therefore, most repairs can be completed within a few days. Repairs that require a full teardown and overhaul take place at the factory and may take an extra 1-2 weeks. Customers may pay for an advanced replacement if they want a replacement before the warranty assessment is complete. If the work is warrantied, then the advanced replacement fee is refunded.

Return Policy: Items may be returned or exchanged within 30 day of the invoice date except for final sale marked items, or custom orders (items that are not on the price sheet). Return items must be new, in-box, and still sealed. Items that have opened, mounted, tested fitted, or otherwise handled by the customer are considered used and may not be returned. Returns must include all included items. All returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Original shipping costs will not be refunded, and return shipping and insurance are the responsibility of customer making the return.

Return Authorization: To initiate a return, contact wholesale@steamspeed.com to be issues an RMA (return merchandise authorization) and return instruction. Returns without an RMA will be not be accepted.

Shipping Damage: If a customer receives a damaged product, SteamSpeed must be notified within 24hrs so that an insurance claim maybe be filed with the carrier.

Customers sending packages to SteamSpeed for repair, or return are responsible for the product until the shipment is accepted by SteamSpeed. This means customers are responsible for properly packing the product in the first place, and using the carrier shipping insurance.

SteamSpeed is not responsible for shipping damage on inbound shipments. Shipping damage will not be warrantied, but maybe repaired at the customer’s expense.
Backorders: SteamSpeed stocks all items on the current SteamSpeed price sheet. In the chance that a popular item goes out of stock, backorders are fulfilled in the order they were received.

Payment: Most wholesale accounts are prepaid with their credit card on file meaning SteamSpeed will charge the card on file before shipping an order. For international, distribution, or ODM orders, ACH or wire transfers are preferred.

Limitations: All SteamSpeed products are intended of off-road use only. The customer assumes all risks associated with using SteamSpeed off-road products. SteamSpeed is not responsible for damage or loss related to installation, tuning, on in general cases where it is beyond its control. In general, SteamSpeed warrants that SteamSpeed products are manufactured and will operate correctly for a limited period of time. SteamSpeed does not warrant things beyond its control such as installation, tuning, user derived damage, etc. Please review the full warranty for details.
